I just put one of those kits on my car, (vr4, i have no idea if the also fit rvr) the advantage is if you take you turbo off you can just unscrew it from the flange which you leave attatched to the turbo and sump rather than take the whole line off and have to re-seal it.
Makes it so much easyer. I and a few other people have fought with the oil return line leaking after putting it back on, before doing somthing like this.
That said i havent yet started the car with this on but you only have to get the seals right once.
