As most of you are aware. My gsr is candy yellow.. im about to start doing up the inside of the car and the people who i have spoken to about my ideas of what i want to do think that its abit tacky.

i want to get fixed bucket seats (ive had fixed before) and i want to get them retrimmed in yellow with black piping, also want to remove the grey inserts of the rear seats and get yellow vinyl/leather put in them. I also want to retrim the door inserts to have yellow...

I was also thinking of getting a leather (yellow/black) steering wheel.

Im going for a fast street car/show car kind of look... what are your thoughts?

i was thinking of going SR2 or SR3 but everyone has it and you really need the whole interior to make it look right.. so i thought maybe if i get some old seats and retrim them...

i dont want to be like everyone else and slap some SR2's in it, i want something dif and want it to stand out of the crowd so to speak..

so i guess most people think if i went yellow it would b tacky.. how bout black or blue? something not as in your face..

Get a set of Bride seats, and retrim the whole interior in the bride trim

something like this:

it comes in 3 diff colours, red, black and blue on grey
and get all those carbon fibre bits that i posted up a few days ago

my car is yellow remember.. red would look shit.. grey would look ok.. black would look good..

its just hard to get a nice compromise of color scheme without being too over the top

respray the car

get some recaro SR4 seats
retrim them in black suede and black alacantra, with yellow stitching
and continue that theme for the rear seats
then get a decent steering wheel and retrim that in black suede with yellow stitching as well
just do the same for the gear shift boot, and the handbrake boot if there is one

the outside of your car is already yellow
so you need a neutral colour, with yellow highlights (if you want a 'colour scheme')

i dunno about re-trimming it in yellow... it might look a bit too NSW-spec :p

yellow would show up a lot of dirt and stuff too, being a pale colour

black/grey, something like that i'd prefer, but your call in the end

those are work meisters on that white evo/gsr they arent te37s.

but yeh yellow should stick with majority black interior bits n pieces of yellow is ok just not all/most is yellow.

its your car man, in the end, it doesnt matter what anyone else thinks. You know what looks good in your own mind so just go for it!

if people dont like it then fuck em I say

i dont really think its the colour that will make it look good or not,
its how u use it.
Personally just dont like those seats and that wheel.
Full on yellow will make ur car loose "tuffness" i think personally anyway
how about like black seats with yellow inserts, and a black momo steering wheel with yellow inserts...gear knob...foot pedals. etc
thats my 2 cents worth,
but hey...its wateva floats ur boat at the end of the day. :p
heres some pics i found, all off ebay

Steering Wheel - Retrim in Yellow instead of red

Pedals - Retrim in yellow instead of blue

I think the idea here is too retain the car's color throughout the interior, but don't allow it too become overly dominant.

That's what I'd be going for, anyway.

Yeah i would def go black seats with yellow stitching! you could even do the yellow stitching it the way of the ralliart lines which would look good!
