People will flame it because it is shiny and is on ebay...

I have personally had one in my hand and the welds etc appeared fine - but this being said the welds generally do look good until heated etc.

looks like the driven performance one,
which i will also agree with missile on.
welds do look pretty good up close, but yeh, when under pressure who knows...

For the price Harry, you might as well buy it and give it a go. If it cracks or whatever, changing the dump isn't that big of a job and you're not that much out of pocket $-wise.

Buy two, so you can refit the spare one whilst you're getting a better one fabricated!

Not being rude at all but i swear this has come up at least once or twice in the last two months on here. With lots of replys maybe worth a look.
And people have posted up the punishment racing ones, the mild steel ones ect ect....

Ive wondered for a long time if they are any better than an evo 3 dump. No one has done that swap on its own and said for sure. I'd love to hear an opinion!
They are still only 2.5 inch at the flange not 3. Most the cheap ones the dump merges at a sharp angle not at more of an angle to direct flow down the pipe to avoid a pressure area at the merge. The action dan ones look pretty sweet, how they merge at a smoother angle.

As above, they're probably no better than a stock cast one, the wastegate pipe needs to merge smoothly into the exhaust to disrupt the flow as little as possible.

The further after the turbo it merges the better also!

its not meant for performance really, its for the rvr...its currently a screamer pipe and wanna pull it off to shut it up

They are crap and cuse turbulance due to their collector design they dont flow either GTPumps has flow tested a shed load of different dumps and everything else and they are what they are Cheap, they will do the job........
..... but dont think your buying anything to increase or assist your power level

I've fit alot of Evo III factory cast dumps on gsr's and Evo I'sand II's, EIII are huge compared to E1 &2 cast dumps.

Being cast they retain the heat well, dont crack or split and you keep your exhaust housing heat sheild ;) unlike the egay one above.
