i have a new built 2.3 evo. had to dyno tunes due to new manifold. Has 300ks since new.
Had turbo trouble so would only flow 19psi making 307kw.
I have a new thermostat, A new full size alloy radiator from luxery sports and a 12" fan on there. On dyno i had no overflow bottle but car from what i could see didnt push any coolant out at all.
I went for a drive twice since after tune and 1st time it pushed very minor bit had no overflow bottle then so ( in that time i added a 500ml V can as a overflow ) half filled that with water. I drove it today 30 odd ks and it had overflowed the V can not by much but it did lose some. Car has hit boost cut twice of 30psi which i have been told may have pinged HG. Oil seems fine, temp gauge stays well below half etc
Could it be as simple as a raditor cap fail? Or overflow to small?
