HI all,

Just a quick question, is there any difference from GSR and EVO 1/2/3 oxygen sensors?

Cheers,
Ted.

If i go an innovate wideband is it posible to wire it into the ecmlink setups? use it to talk to the ecu?

Yep,
You can either change wideband output to narrowband (why would you do this!!)
Or run wideband straight into ecmlink and use ecmlink to simulate narrowband. (this is good and you want it). This means you can log mixtures and tune to suit

I'm using the innovate mtx and the gauge is stuffed in the pocket above the glovebox on the proton.
I bought it off eBay, but it broke soon after, however it was from a Aussie seller and they exchanged it very quick and no problems. 2nd one is fine.
I first installed it near transfer case and it straight away told me I wasn't running in closed loop at all. (this was before ecmlink)
Now it is in the front position and runs closed loop fine

I ran the cable in the passenger guard above the wheel liner.
Gsr have a hole through the firewall there in same spot as other side. Proton don't have a hole there. I drilled a hole, step drilled it bigger, and grommetted it.

Nice

The hole when inside will be just up by the heater fan. You can drill it and get to the hole without destroying anything. I'm not at home so I can't post a pic of where to drill the hole.
Maybe someone with a Gsr shell can post a pic? I think it's for the abs wiring?
There maybe a embossed oval where the cutout goes, I can't remember. I know I didn't remove guard or anything, just the rear half of the liner to get access with the drill.

There is 2 options with the mtx, one has a longer lead than the other for the same price. I got the long lead version, don't know if the short lead is too short or not, but why would you get a short lead if it's the same price as a long lead. There is a couple of loops of lead under the dash but I'm fine with that.
