Parting Out Evo Satria.

4GTuner

Help Support 4GTuner:

*** for the EVO brake caliper conversion you need to change the front hubs, to be able to run the bigger disc setup.... because of the PCD difference, the GTI is 4 x 100 and the EVO is 4 x 114.3...

You can actually buy rotor new from Dba that are the same dia as evo and still the same stud pattern part number 402b

Yes but they are more than double the price and you still need a ring machined to fit the centrebore of the 402b. I was using redrilled 402's.

Couple more things added to first post.

Evo II ecu bayed and jumper moved with ECMLink. Not sure how i go about selling the ECMLink with forum subscription etc etc.

No. phucking. way

:( :(

Can't believe you're ditching your project Paul. Such a shame. You came so far with it, from your humble beginnings with the coupe, 93P, then this.

It's really sad to see you lose interest in this. But I guess you've thought long and hard already.

Cheers,
Alex

Thanks Alex.

It is unfortunate and it breaks my heart to do it, but at the end of the day, even after all the dollars i've spent, and would have continued to spend, i would rarely get to enjoy it, and in the end its still a car i paid $1800 for. It's definitely the right decision IMO.

While i'm only 22, the plan is to purchase the car i've always wanted, and to start looking into property. I see no need in slaving my ass off when i'm 50+ trying to pay a mortgage.

smart move paul i think i have the cheapest car here! paid $600 i beleive and hope to be done with it by the time 5k comes around

Yeh fair enough Paul, but I can't see why you cant do both  !

That said, if you're going to jump into property do NOT buy in Melbs, prices are phucking ridiculous here !!

I wish man, theres just not enough room for another car. Sydney prices are stupidly expensive. I guess its just a fact of life and just need to deal with it if you want it.

I'm keen on ecu with ECM, happy to talk to Thomas about moving it over, do you have a price?

I'd let it go for $500 posted. ECMLink was only installed 2 weeks ago, and will come with all original packaging, cabling etc etc. ECU cover has been notched to fit a ribbon cable from the previously fitted Ostrich 2.0, but doesnt effect the ECU in anyway.

Thanks for the reply paul, I'll have to pass for now, I already have an ecu, so I'll probably just buy the ECM link separately... The dollar is smashing it ATM.

Paul, my brother Mik-e is making a trip to Sydney tomorrow and will pick up the coilovers for me :)
He's got your number and knows where you live from parts whoring deals previously

Sold parts removed from the first post and prices lowered again. I will consider any reasonable offers, just as people who have already purchased have found out.

Do the GT Pump manifolds utilize the same mounting points for the manifold heat cover??

If so i'll take it when i pick up Robs coilovers
