parts interchangeability

Hi guys, new member from adelaide here
Basically have my eye on a jap vr4 4g63 from a mate that has had some front accident damage but he says he has all the parts to repair it from a non turbo galant/gsr i.e. headlights, bumper and front left guard. Will these parts work or is it a myth? I'm in two minds about getting it as the damage is significant ( rad support panel pushed back, busted oil cooler etc) but he only wants $1000 for it, silver in color, rest of the car is complete and it runs well, diff suspension, exhaust, new clutch

It depends on which front bar it is. But if the damage is ad I'd pass on it unless you can fix it properly for pretty much zero cost...

I'll upload some photos of it, I should mention my main intention is to use the car for hillclimbs and mallala, very minimal street use, I have a daily plus an fc rx7. Also said it had an evo 2 turbo I believe

being in the smash repair trade i would pass on it unless you get it professionaly fixed , unless you are in the trade or know somebody in the trade dont bother with it. Its not worth the head ache

There have been a few undamaged VR4's for sale in Adelaide recently for $1k, I bought one. Why would you spend $1k on a damaged car???
