PCV valve

Hey,
Just wanted to know if anyone has bought a new one and how much it was, the whistling on vacuum is starting to make me crazy.....

i never bought a new one, but a friend of mine's one had a crack in the middle/90 degree bend L shaped one... is that whats wrong with urs?

he just sawed it off at that bend and it turned out to be an I shape instead of L

?

Nah that is just a piece of 90 degree pipe I think, the problem is the valve that connects to the intake manifold.. definitely whistles loudly, as if the car doesn't attract enough attention

Heh called mitsubishi today regarding the PCV (bored), anyway, 88 bucks non-inclusive. A rocker cover (without PCV/fittings) is 500 bucks. However the OEM half moon seal is only 7 dollars.. hehe...

I think I'll be getting my PCV from the internet

I bought the alloy Oem Mitsu 63 half moon seal nice and shiny and reusable unlike the rubber ones that swell and start leaking
