An agreement is an agreement- end of story

 naaa Dan.

That shit pisses me off eh! especially if you've known them for years and they f*ck ya around  If it was a genuine mistake on their part and they were undercharging and didnt know it then fair enough, but if they turn around and try to blackmail you with a price over market value because they know you really want the item, then f*ck em!!!

happened to a friend.. he put a deposit on a 180sx, modified, guy was strapped for cash.. and the price was very good.. to good to pass up.

Friend shows up to fill out transfer a couple days later as agreed.. Guy sold it for more money, now at this point deposit taken and contracts signed this could go to court and the seller would have to get the car back for him.

basically there are kents like that out there..

oh also, if a shop gives you a price and u go to purchase, they should honour that mistake. else they should tell the customer of the screw up and cant do it at that price but can still cut a good deal. or just do it for the prices

i rang a place last weekand obtained a quote for their service/work which i then quoted my customer.

i then sent thework there based on their quote and was told that the quote i was given was only a "verbal quote" not a proper one

now thats shit

i would have hoped so but not if it gets serious

in my case they nearly did the right thing after i heavily cracked the shits.

it shouldnt get to that

verbal quote unless stated otherwise is like a verbal contract..

ie: you call up fora part , they check the system, they give you a price. You say no probs . ill be down today to pick it up

You show up. They say "Oh we gave you the wrong price.. its actually XXX$figure. unfortunately.. they have to sell it for that price.. Or so you think, because customer service usually doesnt count for shit these days so they will tell you to get fekked and buy it somewhere else..
