Hey guys im curious to know would anyone be interested in buying 3 2 and 1 gauge pillar mounts to suit evo 1-2-3 and gsr not sure on prices yet just gathering interest ?

I dont mind if its single or dual provided it sits very low on the A-pillar. ie below the horizontal of steering wheel height (legal stuff as it should deter the cops from defecting you  ).

^ How is that possible?? The A pillar doesnt extend that low...........
Wouldnt the guages would have to be in the vent to accomplish that?

Yes that's true it does not extend that low the part will basically be a replacement for the factory A pillar trim I will try to get one made ASAP and get some photos up

Yeah it does Jamie. Draw an imaginary horizontal line from the top of your steering wheel across to the A-pillar. You can fit 1 even 2 in the bottom corner of the A-pillar. One will fit easy, or 2 of them side by side or 45' angled for a dual ;)
Raise your adjustable steering column higher for a bit more room to play with if you want :D Basically anything a 160mm diamater ball can touch is no good. (the ball is to represent a human head on impact).

Well if thats the law, someone I know is screwed if he gets pulled over..He has 3 gauges spaced the whole way up the A pillar with two of them at face/head height...

yep, thats the law, i want to know whos head it represents that is 160mm?

in general cops dont really pick up on them, or they dont hassle about with them, well in my experiences anyway,
but if a cop wants ya off the road then ya off... they'll find somthing, best thing is to just be normal with them, play a little dum an cross ya fingers
if ya get an arsehole, well, unlucky, if not ya should be sweet with a warning

Yup thats the 1, ive seen some for sale to suit a Mazda and i thought it was a great idea

Thats a great idea as you're not drilling holes into anything. If ever you want to remove it, just pull that little vent out and replace it. :)
Too easy.

Yea I want a single gauge piller mount that sits low on the a-pillar but not so low that it blocks the vent, stupid fog can be annoying :p

Also want it in the same colour / looked as the original a-pillar. Bit of an ask, but surely someone can do it?

A few years ago someone on here was going to do it for us, but nothing happened :(
