Piston Oil Ring

Can anybody confirm, If this is the same as the factory oil ring? Its for a 4g63 VR4 Galant , 91. Just due to the fact that i heard that there are two types.

my factory ones had a wire retainer that threaded through the part you show which is called the expander rail.
aftermarket looks the same but doesnt have the wire retainer
