Hi Guys. Took my car to my mechanics the other day to look over a couple of problems. I have 1993 cc gsr with vr4 4g63t conversion. Turns out that i need to replace the inserts for the front and rear lower engine mounts. Since i didnt do the conversion myself i am unsure which inserts to buy. I know these are also reffered to as front and rear roll stopper inserts and i see that Meek have ralliart items for a decent price. My question is do i buy them to suit evo 1-3 or do i buy them to suit vr4 or do i need genuine gsr ones from mistsi. My guess would be evo 1-3 but not that keen to waste my mechanics time and also waste my money getting the wrong ones.
Also i have purchased seals to replace a slightly weepy seal on the drivers side driveshaft. He told me my cv's were going to need to be done soon as well which i am happy to do. I have read that passenger side driveshaft is replaced with vr4 item with a conversion like mine so do i need to get different cv joints or will gsr joints be fine for both sides for each side and how do i tell? The aircon hangar is still in place for this shaft from what i can see. Also does anyone know from experience what a reasonable buying price is for each of the cv joints? as my mechanic said he will try and fine a price and get back to me. Any advice would be much appreciated guys...

roll stopper would be either evo 123 or gsr. The one is fairly easy so if you have tools and some ability you could do it at home in an hour. The back one is a pain ...but not out of the question at home. I find it is easier to take out the transfer case to get at it...that can sometimes mean removing the front exhaust as well so that the tranfer case can be removed.

The cv shaft for the left side should be done at the same time as access to the mounts is easier when the transfer is out. the cv shaft should be taken to a cv specialist to match up the existing cvs.
