Possible gearbox problem??

Hey guys, my car has yet another problem. It lacks power when I put my foot down but its nothing from the motor. Motor runs and sounds fine. When I put my foot on the go pedal, it just revs and slowly goes but the speedo will climb as if its still driving normally, and whats even weirder is when I turn right, there's a wicked bad shudder. Any ideas? I don't know to much about mechanics but possibly a CV or clutch???

1st issue is easy your clutch is slipping. second one not to sure of

Its weird because they started going at the same time, and the clutch slipping wouldnt cause the speedo to climb while slipping would it?

Id say a slipping clutch, possibly crankwalk. Is it an EVO 7 bolt engine?

dude, if your clutch starts slipping, like if the tacho goes up and the speedo doesnt follow. they BACK THE F$$% OFF the gas. STOP BOOSTING. you are only doing damage. that funny burnt smell is clutch burning.
Dont keep driving it and making it slip, creep around gently like an old grandpa till you can get it looked at. it wont get any better by itself. if you are a complete nong, it will get that bad that you wont be able to get up the driveway.

where is the shudder from? front or back? coasting or under power, 1 gear or all gears? right side or left?

get some mechanical appreciation will you.

All good guys, the 2 bolts for the CV bracket came loose with vibration, cv was partially out of the box and thats all it was, replaced the bolts ASAP and NO more dramas ^_^ weird huh?
