Post Undercover Cops/Parking Inspector/Speed Cam Cars Plates

Hi All,

In an effort to fight the outragious dob in a hoon nonsense i suggest we all get together and record number plates of undercover cops / parking inspectors and mobile speed camera cars, and the time/date/location of where you spot the car.

Then several members put in a similar complaint and play them at their own game.

So please take note of any numberplates and post them here with a short description of what complaint you have logged so other members can report a similar thing.

Its not about breaking laws or not, its to try and prove that this whole 'dob in a hoon' is not the best way to get people to drive sensibly. There's also better things to spend $250,000 on than this petty campaign.

If you really want to bring the road toll down, then for fucks sake, teach people how to drive better from the start. This shit makes my blood boil.

I would like to start by saying i currently have a a clean licence, no infringements in 3 years, and only 1 speeding ticket (less than 10ks over) in the last 5 years.

The issue is the only road rule being enforced is speed, and its only enforced for revenue raising.

How about enforcing the keep left unless overtaking, or the tailgating rule (Tailgating in my opinion is cause by people not keeping left) , people not using indicators etc.

If the public stands up and refuses to accept these EPA / Hoon dob in lines and actually focus on road safety thing would be much better.

Also "dobbing" sombody in is a dog's act,

These lines are open to abuse, and at the end of the day done work as its 1 persons word against anothers.

And to be honest, screwing over the scum of society (Parking Inspectors) is somthing we should all work together to achieve.

How are they verifying that in fact the person in question was 'hooning'.

I think it is very open to abuse.

i know we dont have any real rights in austrailia but what ever happened to 'innocent until proven guilty'???? this campaign is a waste of all the bullshit speeding fine revinue that should go towards improving roads.. i know i biased but particularly country roads its nothing short of a miracle that there arent more accidents due to shit roads.....

If you plan to dob these guys in, you had better have a real issue to dob them in for. making a false report to police is a very serious matter. please also be mindful that cops also have private lives and drive evos and other cars with 4g63 /in them so you wount know who is looking at this thread.

however a nice photo of any of these people performing illegal acts would be nice for us all to see.

What evidence can anyone provide? Which is the point of this thread.

But yes, they do require your details... and so what if you make several reports, isnt that the governments goal for the hotline.

Fair point, but can anyone hre say they have had more good experiences with police than bad.

I cant even get the local cops to stop people parking in my street (one way street) and blocking access to my driveway and my neighbours driveway. Only once in my life did the police do anything to assist me and i was signing a sat dec.

I suggest a blanket ban in the sites terms and conditions for cops or law enforement of any kind. To eliminate anything on this forum being used against members.

eg: Cruise Locations, so cops cant just come out and cause problems.

you do realise that youve probably got more chance of being hit by a meteorite than being convicted of hoon driving via the "hoon hotline" ...

Its a total waste of taxpayers money. You cant even get in trouble if youre driving like a fuckwit and someone driving behind you calls the hotline to dob you in - they simply get told they have to call the police for such matters :lol: :lol:

I have to admit - I've been pulled over twice in my Coupe and both times the Police involved have been very fair. I was honest and upfront with them and the matter was ended there and then.

Like anything - if you cross somebody in a position of authority on a bad day you're probably going to get a reaction or outcome that you probably won't like!
