power door locks???

does anybody have an alarm system on their car?

if you do....when you arm or disarm the car, do the doors lock and unlock?

I ask this because I'm planning to install an alarm/starter combo, and im trying to figure out the schematics of the car. If there is no input and output for lock and unlock I will have to run a seperate acuator to the door lock with relays so it will operate properly.

If the car has inputs of lock and unlock with onboard relays then I can just wire the alarm system directly without use of aftermarket acuators.

I have an EVO 1 GSR and it has OEM central locking, integrated with an alarm

you can wire the alarm system directly to the central locking located under the driverside dash, dont need aftermarket actuators.

ok great...I also have an EVO 1 GSR.. the drivers door locks and unlocks all the doors is that considered OEM Central locking?....i will look into that today.. any idea what color it is?

in addition does anybody have a starter combo on their car? I need to find the tach wire anybody have an idea where and what color it is? I've been looking into a wiring diagram from evo321.com in the history and technical section and the pin read out for tach is supposedly #31 on the ecu.. and i think the diagram color is white. any idea if I can use this as a tach wire for the starter?
