Hey guys i have a problem, my car won't start, i think its the engine immobilizer but i cant find them in the car.
normaly the immobilizer LED go on for few seconds when i turn the key and shut off, than i can start the engine
but at the moment the immobilizer LED always on when i turn the key (key is with chip inside)
with another key without the chip the LED flasch on off on off........
its a Proton satria gti with mitsubishi engine ecu

Go to the engine control relay if you have a Mitsu ECU'd GTi, or go to the twin relay blocks if you have a SIEMENS ECU powered GTi engine.
Location is behind the stereo area.
Find the white wire with red trace coming off the relay (Engine Control Relay is a gold metal box for Mitsu ECU'd GTi's). Follow it along and you might see it cut and joined to a black wire - that's one of the immobiliser wires.
Now keep looking under the dash heading towards the driver, you will find the white wire with red trace connected to another black wire - that's the other side of the immobiliser.
Basically white wire with red trace is cut in from factory loom. One end goes to immobiliser switch, other end goes to immobiliser switch. The immobiliser when switched on disconnects the power that joins them together.
Simply use a wire to join both ends of the white wire with red trace back together then try starting your car.
If that don't work, then theres a 2 stage immobiliser and unfortunately haven't played around with their dash looms much more than that as only the one wire was needed on the car I did.
 
Yea, it was the other week for the canadian with no fuel pump.
Im know that when I changed from Siemens to mitsi ecu, there was no additional loom bits thay went to the immobilizer. I think it only stops the crank signal.

but one think make me confuse.
the car has a mitsubishi ecu but the engine control relai are 2 black relais, not the common relais like gold metal box.
 
So I have complete destruct my car, complete daschboard are aut of the car, i have Check the white/red wire ,that goes to the engine ecu without other cables. But I have found the immobilizer box, sitting over the heather matrix. You must put aut the dash for build aut the box. It's a big connector with 11 wires
 
Unreal. Jumbuck has the same dash but grey, not black. And immobilizer is under ashtray.
I have a funny relay and little box jammed in above heater but the relay is a added in thing (crimp terminals) and has nothing on the relay output.

I have a spare box if you need, but it will need a key coded to it. I imagine you can get one easy from your country.
