I'm like you , and leave it on quite abit , its just the thermal paste goes dry and hard over time and there is not to much you can do , its also the issues with the Xbox 360

Sony charge a flat rate of $315 to repair it , it cost me $15 and 3 hours of my time

the best prevention is to try to keep it in a well ventilated area , mines usually just behind my TV which I wouldn't advise due to the heat out of a plasma , I think its time for a change for my setup , I also think standing up is a better way for the heat to get out of the unit quickly

all you guys on gt5, if you have B-spec drivers and your linked up to play online set all of you Bspec
drivers to online.
This means your friends can use them in online remote races and earn you cash even when you PS3 is off.

Who knows, but PC gaming is much better

Ive been playing Just Cause 2 , its such a massive game ....lol , Ive only completed one Island , it feels like Ive been playing for years

my ps3 collects alot of dust. hardly ever gets touched. has seen a small workout since i got gt5 and skate 3 but thats about it

I also downloaded the test tracks for $7 off playstation store , and that evo runs a 10.8 quatermile , the g-forse is 1.38 , my veyron does 1.75g and 8.85 quatermile
