[QLD] - Dyno day QLD Brisbane

It is invite only but thought it might be a place to meet some of the ppl on here from Brisbane.

APC in springwood are having a Invitation only (dyno that is) DYNO day on the 11th FEB My mates car (that i built) has been invited so I'm taking the day off work to be there.

Thought it would be a good opportunity to meet some of you guys. You could give me some Ideas what to do with my car. And i could see what you have done to yours.?

the last club vr4 meet we had we had about 9 4G powered cars from VR4's to VR4 powered cordias, gsr's, and even an evo.

rest assured there are plenty of people in brisbane, we are just for the most part lazy and organising anything seems to take alot of effort. i guess thats the qld'er attitude though.

haha true! well i got about 4 mates with GSR's and they are all keen to go on a gsr/vr4/evo cruise. i've also got a mate with a genuine evo 1 running in the 11's and another mate with a genuine evo 3 and a mate with a new red evo 9. we should organise a date and a destination such as sumerset dam or hinze or sum thing like that. what u guys rekkon?

After competing in the Coastall Challenge, the Queensland Challenge and the Kilcoy road rally, My mates and I have put together a list of really great roads for fanging on, unfortunately for some, they are mostly on the northside of Brisbane. We were planning on organising our own little private fang road trip incorporating a lot of these roads, but we have to get a few more mods to the cars sorted out first.

If anyone else would be interested in doing something like this, let me know and i'll put some more thought into it.

Also, if anyone knows any good roads, away from Joe Public, let me know. We are slowly compiling a list of such places.

anything like that is cool by me! race tracks are way too smooth for me I like the real world with rutts and bumps and off camber corners, That way you can tell the men from the mice.

well, if every 1 is keen let me know and we can organise a cruise for a sunday in a month or so, so ppl's cars are ready and its sufficent time for every 1 to get the day off work etc. lets make it a descent cruise to a dam or sum thing tho. how does this sound? if i get lots of feed back i'll post it on boost cruising and gsr-evo club. and mrs.gsr rn't u on mirage lancer?

yeah i agree, i say the cruise must b keep for only gsr's evo's and vr4's no turboed fwd lancer etc. but there r a few ppl i know which those before mentioned cars on the website

I have no problem with other makes and models coming along, just not the entire boost cruisin dickhead brigade (howmany cruises have there been where people have run up each other's ass!). Keep it small, simple and discreet and let the cops entertain themselves elsewhere.

Do we want an easy leisurely cruise to somewhere scenic with a BBQ lunch, or do we want some fun roads thrown in as well? I'm guessing not everyone's cars are set up for the twisty stuff.

um i rekkon it should b only for gsr's, evo's and vr4's coz i dont know of any cruises which has just been for these cars and it would b good if we could get most of the guys in brisbane who have a passion for these cars on a cruise altogehter.

agree 5 to 10 cars max you dont lose each other also if we are all similar we can keep up with each other.( maybe i might be able to keep u, really!)

how about up brisbane side of nebo/glorious down to summerset dam talk shit for a while then back up mtn. and back down to brisbane?

should take about 45mins either way and say 1 hour talkin shit and letting the cars cool down.?

sounds good, just give about a months notice so i can get all the boys and a girl i know whit their gsr's and evo's together. so we can have a mutual meeting point. the jetgsr if u want u can lead the cruise if u know where u r going. and yeah stop at summerset dam for a chat and what ever

sounds good, i think we could have a few meeting points for ppl in different areas, and then a central meeting point where everyone kinda goes, like the southside guys could meet at garden city, and the northside guys could meet somewhere on the northside, and for those at ipswich or that way they could meet at redbank or something,
