I'm the last person to be supporting pac (i'm usually the guy chanting "smack the pac" when they're lining up with Joe  ), but calling them chicken shit is a joke. They're out racing at almost every bracket meet held in Sydney, they support all the sports compact meets with a host of cars, and they've got the runs on the board. On top of that, the entire car (chassis, engine, etc) is all built here in Australia, not a world record winning package bought turn key from overseas.
The E46 (it is full chassis btw) still has a fair bit of development left in it. There's a heap of weight that can be taken out (all the front panels are still metal, bumper supports, head lights, etc - ~100kg), and they haven't completed a complete pass with the motor at full potential yet.
Whether or not the car gets the track time to run the numbers before it disappears is another story though.
