ok my n/a project has commenced, i just about have all the parts minus the gaskets, bottom end bearings and intake valves. so i need opinions on what style of intake i should use so i can fabricate it now.....

planed for engine:
close to 11:1 comp
minor porting and polishing of the head
blalaced bottom end (if i can be bothered)
possibly remove balance shafts
every thing else stock
time frame for work: 3 months (or cash flow......)

planned for intake, either:
Quad throttles from a 4AGE black top 1.9" throttles X4
or
Twin GGSR 2.75" throttles mounted apposing each other
or
Twin GGSR 2.75" throttles mounted next to each other

okie you opinions fellaz would be helpfull..... leaning more towards the twin system cause its cheaper lol....

I was gonna say if you want any respectable power out of it stroke it. Are twin throttle bodies or even quad throttles really needed? If they are I say quads too.

Quads are only expensive if you buy brand new ones, look at GTIR, 4AGE or GTR ones. Or find some old dead webers or delortos and use the butterfly setups from them. Or go to the wreckers and get four throttle bodies from say suzuki alto's or something like that, then fabricate or buy the linkages etc.

yer been looking for the GTiR ones but no one seems to want to get rid of them, either that or there in woop woop..... does any one know some good second hand motor bike shops? i'll check out how big there quad throttles are......

i'v already had a real torquey n/a, 2.6lt 4G54 with quad throttle Dellorettos from my old alfa romeo... errr... what grip?......

stroker ey? soo example using 4G64 (i think) crank and pistons?

The biggest motorbike throttles I have seen are around 38 mm, which is probably a little on the small side for a 2 litre.

I love old alfas, you can buy a whole car for $200 to $300 and sell the delortos off it for $400.

heheh yer i should still have those dellorettos lying in the back yard somwere.... and some engine parts...... errr i really got to get rid of shit!
