Anyone know the bolt size required that goes in the child restraint on the rear shelf?

I tried a bunch of different spare bolts today and none fitted.

Thanks

Am pretty sure they're a 5/8 npt. My cage builder knew them straight off the top of his head.

Just zip into pick-a-part and grab one!

Thanks, I want to mount the harness point there.

Not a great idea.

If you're not going to mount a harness correctly, then don't use one at all. Stick to your factory seatbelts - they'll have a better chance of saving your life than an improperly fitted harness in the event of a serious accident.

The child restraint points are NOT harness anchor points. You have been warned.

I see what you are saying. This type of bar is another option.

I dont run a harness for that reason as much as I would love to.

no cage-no harness.

worst case if you go over in a car with no cage and a harness plenty of things car happen.
if its not a fixed back seat the seat may break. and if not it will hold you upright in the
seat and the roof will come down and squash you bad.

saying that i now have a cage in the silvia but no real way of mounting it correctly so i just run the stock
seatbelt.
