Help Support 4GTuner:

hey nice one sivart!

i'm wondering if i need the side bits of mdf or not. i might just do it for the front..

best way would be to cut out some cardboard to see if it suits

you should get it powder coated, it would be awsome if you could get some flat sheet carbon fibre

lefty, if you take the seat off of mine it folds up quite nicely. but i won't be bothered really. luckily the room i will have it in has a perfect storage place :)

Ok so I've been busy/lazy and haven't really finished it off at all. It's painted, and able to be used, just doesn't have the front MDF sections on yet.

I'm off to QLD, then come home and it's going to be flat out for a while at work, then I get married and I'm off overseas. So it's not really going to happen in the near future unfortunately.

Anyway here are some pics of where it is at the moment. I'd like to properly route/ziptie all of the cabling at some stage as well. I think it'd all look better a bit tidier.

The pedals work, but would be better with the mount like aXLe designed. Maybe by the time I come home he'll have them done! :)

it was like $80 or something for steel... cos it was brand new steel.

and paint was probably a fair bit because i went stupid and primered it in killrust and then painted it in this hammered metal finish

so maybe like $150 or something?

if you can get free steel and just have some paint lying around it'd be el cheapo

that looks great, i dont think you need any covers on it, the color is mint

it would be alot stronger than my mdf setup, i havnt painted mine yet either

travis,my younger brother got the g25 for xmas, and now wants a cockpit.

do you have the write up for it please?

no bud I just made it on the day with no plans at all, I didnt even have the seat till I won one on ebay, I just googled around to see what I liked
