mmm i just got my car tuned n the place told me to go do the 1/4 mile run but to put racing fuel into it... where would i get racing fuel from??

Do you have a CAMS licence? If not... go and find someone that does, and give them money to buy C16 for you.

and it's best to get it tuned on c16.. not get it tuned then put c16 in.. rendering it useless.

Don't forget, c16 is illegal on the streets and incurs a hefty penalty if caught ;)

why would you get it tuned on c16?
so you can run 116 octane on the dyno with no load

and then go out on the street with 98 octane and a whole lot more load on the car?

great!

i have an L2S cams licence, if thats what you need to get c16, pm me and i'll get some for you

why wouldn't you get it tuned for the higher octane? seems a bit pointless to run on high octane fuel if the car is running a map for 98 octane.
AFAS in Croydon can get race fuels. 9723 5944

how often do you roll into shell or bp and see 116 octane fuel readily available?

the place told me to put c16 in it, so i guess its tuned for it, then they told me to go to calder n put the racing fuel in it n run my car on stage 3 boost...

stage 3? sounds like theyve been playing too much gran turismo

if you find out where to get some c16, if they say you need a cams licence, let me know and i'll help you out

well the smart thing to do would be to have 2 maps

lol
ok, i'll shut up now

im guessing you're running aftermarket management?
what computer is it? who does the tuning?
Dre's car made an extra 35 odd kw at the wheels on race gas (martini i think) with an extra 7psi or so.

dont worry my motor only dont 11,000kms since rebuilt... i can run nos in it n it wont **** up... made this motor strong for a reason!... should have gone with the VR4 though...
