Getting a radiator custom made for the Evo, and have a choice of a 2-pass or 4-pass radiator. Now my natural instinct would be to choose 4-pass, but that's based solely on me thinking that bigger numbers have got to be better(!).

Which one would offer me better cooling?

Things such as how much time the water spends in the radiator from entry/exit, how much restriction there is on the water, how much surface area the fins cover and how much air can actually flow through the fins, all play part in how efficient a radiator can cool the water.
A 2-pass or 4-pass generally means how many times the water travels through the radiator from entry to exit. Personally, I think there's nothing wrong with a normal single pass alloy radiator anyway - just ensure you get quality thermo fans that flow high cfm bolted to it rather than an el-cheapo thermo fan that are worse than stock fans.

in all honesty a 2 pass is probably enf and maybe look at some spal fans

if you have room makesure that you fit a shroud or cowling it will help with draw through the fins.

4 pass would be suited to hi HP circuit car or say very Hi HP drag applications

Gonna be using pusher fans due to space restrictions so no real use for a shroud. Will jus try and get some good ducting and cool in other ways.

in that case make sure that air cannot pass around the radiator but through.

block off the sides between the bar and rad so all frontal air goes through the intercooler and rad
