Radiator air deflectors, that piece of steel that bolts to your upper rad support and sits over the top tank of your radiator to force air through the core instead of over the top.

Am seriously looking at having a couple of these made up in the near future. Any interest?

1.5mm plate alloy (lasercut), will be bent in a sheetmetal press.

Probably won't be as bling as a cusco one but you could paint it or something?

No idea on pricing atm, wouldn't be extravagant.

EDIT: I actually need 3 of these, so I'm already making multiples.

Interested. Doesnt need to be bling as im going with a boring black theme and will probably paint it so i dont get hassled anyway.

Yeah once there a template getting multiples cut would be piss. Great idea.

Ive though about making one up, bunnings sell the sheet metal in a good size near me but this would be easyer!

I put my hand up in the other thread for a "suggested" group buy..
But this seems like a much cheaper option... I'm interested also- once you have done one can you post some pics?? I would want two....

This is for an E39A GALANT VR4. This -WILL NOT- fit an evo 1-3 or a Lancer gsr.

Make sure you're aware.

I'll do the engineering drawings tomorrow on solidworks and have them lasercut midweek. Then just got to find a reputable shop to bend them into shape for me.

We're upto 8, so I'll make 10 initially and maybe another 10 later on. :)

Cheers guys, thankyou for your interest.

PS. Anyone else who wants one, post up.

REP SYSTEM ABUSE. Spam me with rep hits! :D hahahaa.

Oops.. Sorry man I thought they were for a gsr/evo! I'm out then I guess...I'm chasing some for gsr/evo... Any chance of knocking up a few for that vehicle too? I'm sure you will have some takers for them too if you could make them up...

I probably could but I don't own a gsr to make a template/take measurements off unfortunately. Also, I'd have to make a batch of 10 and people would be like "Cusco... random... cusco... random... brand plzkk." So end up making a loss more than likely.

No worries mate:thumbsup: Thanks anyway:cool:

So we're back upto 8. No probs, I'm in the process of measuring mine up and making a cardboard template right now which I'll transfer into solidworks :)

OK GUYS

Feedback required please.

Would you prefer rad support to the lip of the top tank, or would you prefer it to curve clean over the top tank (cutouts for rad cap etc)

Evo ones only goto the lip, would supply a strip a rubber to fit between the lip and the cooling plate obviously.

(It's a hell of a lot easier to make it to the lip, but I don't care either way)
