im almost 90% sure its for when taking a car to a track, scruteneering requires that u have your reseviors wrapped incase of a spill, it soaks it up.

its not as requirement, but it will keep moisture and **** out a bit better

They work,
I had a big cap leak and it sucked all the fluids up..

Good for looks and also for keeping your paint in your engine bay in good condition.. that brake fluid is not good for paint..

Mostly for looks, may prove a lil something for keeping out moisture. Never heard of them being needed for the track. It's just a JDM thing, I could get my hands on some, so I did.

most likley coz drift cars are mostly mis-treated bunkies with bulk power lol
