One of my friends Mark Tapper came to grief on SS15 of the rally of New Zealand, after a spectaor pulled a brown eye!

What a stupid move by the dick on the side of the road... However (no disrespect to Mark) he has been around more than long enough to know he should have been concentrating 100% on his braking point for the 5-left & not thinking about spectators... I missed some boobies at Rally SA a few years ago.. It was only that Sarah spotted them and told me at the end of the stage.

Geez, he wouldn't last 1 km in one of our club rallies if that sort of thing is enough to interrupt his concentration .
Standard rules if you DNF (stop in stage) is "you crash, you flash!".

Just got back from the the WRC and was a fantastic weekend. Be ashame next year when they are all S2000.

Some great talent in NZ and Australia.

There were some guys on the Brooks stage on day 1 doing the same thing. They were waiting for Tapper specifically :lol: Wonder if it was the same guys
