Rear spring removal

Hi guys just brought a set of secondhand cusco coil overs and padders lowering springs to put on my hsgr my question is how do you remove the rear springs I just cannot get a set of spring compressors in the only way I can see is to drop the entire trailing arm is this the way it's normally done ? Thanks in advance for any advice Steve .

Undo the bottom of both shocks & jack the arms down from the floor rails.

Do you have pics of these springs?

Stock springs are longer, so you might need to force the control arm farther down, but it will eventually come out

The good news is that the lowered spring will have much easier time going in and out!
