Help Support 4GTuner:

for that price you would have to think the quality could not be too great,

havent seen them though, are you going to be the tester?

i'm thinking about it..

it's pretty cheap even if it does stuff up.. i couldn't even buy a set of pistons for that much (really)

can anyone make REALLY sub standard components?

I have been looking on the net and there are a few online american shops that are selling topline bearings,

http://www.ci.boulder-city.nv.us/catalog/index.php?manufacturers_id=55

what's the worst that could happen? really my engine doesnt work at the moment

.

yes, poor quality stuff can be sold, even if it is the material that
it is made from may fail under high temps etc...

its your call

Topline seems to be hit or miss, here in the states it's very common for dsm'ers to use a topline rebuild kit and tons and tons of people have no problems with them, but there are some that have had problems.

OEM is much much more expensive, but whether it's worth it or not is up to you. Personally I run OEM oilpump gears, and front case, as well as OEM timing componets and an aftermarket GMB waterpump. The GMB is a very nice (made in Japan) unit and it's still less than 1/2 the cost of the factory pump. I'd get all those componets and then a topline gasket kit.
