anyone know of any good rebuild kits 4 4g93?
reasonably priced...
something forged..
gotta rebuild... so thought i might as well do it properly..
dont want a monsta...but something reasonably powerful...
and no i dont want a 4g63 conversion :wink:

No such thing as a kit.
What do you mean by monsta? its not the internals that make power its the bolt ons... the internals just hold the power..

Crower Rods
Arias Pistons
Twin layer head gasket
ARP Head studs
etc..

Easily 5-7k

i mean kit coz i dont really know exactly wat i need 2 get..

You'll want to replace the Main and Big end bearings. ACL now do these in their "race" series too.

cheap option is to buy a second hand engine. One on ebay for 900 bux.
But you dont really know what your buying. Could be f'd

Head Gasket + ARP Studs ~$350
Bearings $300
Gasket Kit $350
Acid Dip $50
Bore/Hone $250
Machine and Linish Crank $300
Balance etc.. ~$200 ?
Rebuild head (new seals etc..) $450
Misc $1000 (belts etc..)
Assemble $1000

about 6k

then while you ahve the car apart you may aswel put in a good clutch.. saves you having to pull it off again.. so add another $600-1000.

OR

in 2 months you can buy mine hehehehehehe its got that above and a whole lot more!!!!
