rebuilding to a 20g

4GTuner

Help Support 4GTuner:

.

yea.. coz i just got a 16g small G.

umm how much did it end up costing you?

what sort of HP did you see? or is it capable off?

how much lag is therE?

have not fitted it yet due to hold up on parts, but should support
enough for my application.

they have done plenty of good turbos for different types of
cars in the past

well worth a call

Mine from GTPumps is GOOOOOD!

10psi @ 3000 rpm and thats only coz thats all i'm running 10psi

and the best thing .... it looks stock as a rock!

depends what you want, the 20g will flow more so is better for high end, but is also more laggy than the 18g

If you go for a 20G wheel in a 16G housing, ask Mark at GTPumps to upgrade your compressor housing to a TD06! It'll give you a bit more power as it will then be a TD06/TD05 hybrid rated to around 420-450hp or so I think

it should give you a bit more top end from what i understand.

you will also need to fabricate a mount for the wastegate actuator unless you run an external gate.

your also building a 2.3 ltr aren't you? trust me there is NO lag!

it drives like a std car just much more power

2.3ltr has great torque plus the higher gas flow = turbo spool much earlier and much smoother power delivery.

go the 20g especially if your going 2.3ltr
I'm sure Mark could make it bigger and nastier by changing housing etc, I guess it just comes down to money.
