Hey all, I'm OS for work atm and have access to some VR4 bits, but am having trouble finding a freight company to use that makes getting the parts worth while. Any help appreciated.

If you know someone in malaysia that is willing to go with you to the post office, you can use their name and address to send it to your home address via http://www.pos.com.my
thats what a mate of mine did when he was up there not too long ago but i wouldnt know if there is anything else needed

My problems are that I am in Singapore for work, and have been trying to organise things from here via a colleague that speaks Malay. The company in Kuala Lumpor will sell to me as long as I sort the shipping. The part is a nice straight evo 0 bonnet. So far the best price I have come up with for shipping is $670. I need to pay about half that for it to be worth my while.

i've bough back allsorts of stuff in my flight. headlights strut bars etc just slap your name on it and add it as checked baggage.

I investigated bringing it back myself and Singapore air wasn't interested. I have organised shipping that's cost me $400.

The only thing i wouldnt put on a plane are shocks. Alos its none of the flight comapnies business what you check wrap it up pay for the weight and be on your merry way

Actually I'm only paying $115 AUD for the bonnet. It's the transport companies that are bending me over. The average quote was $1k and one mob quoted $2k. WTF!?!

Transport is a killer for everything. I just got some tobacco products in. $30 to buy, $50 to send. The duty is $500 per kilo. Somehow it snuck through customs and im $180 odd better off (300 odd grams)
im lovin the fantasia bubblegum

Its necause of the size theyrr charging you as if it was a block of bricks if it not too much extra in shipping i may be interested in splitting it with you if you can find a set of sr2 recaros at a good price

^Yup!
It's done on "Volumetric Weight" or actual weight. Whichever is larger.
So a bumper that weighs 5Kg actually gets charged as like 90Kgs because it's volumetric weight is so much larger than its actual weight.
