Rego Prices

Hi Guys,

I recieved an email yesterday that says rego is going to go up another $250. this means that when we pay $800 for rego victoria will be paying $200.

It's all bad news basically. As of the 1st of july registration costs go up and petrol goes up.

Isnt the rise from 17% to 22%?
Thatd mean wed be paying about $50-60 more?

No, depending on the class of vehicle the raise is somewhere between 17% and 22%. so a v6 might be 19% and a 4cyl might be 21%.

yeah, definately not looking forward to an extra 10c per litre. the 1000ks a week that i do already costs enough as it is.

currently i'm paying $88.00 per year that will increase to $ 8630.00 in october. yes those figures are correct I rang to make sure i had it correct!

so 100 or so dollars more for my pride and joy, I'm happy to pay!

but as for the the music in the restaurant well I think I'm going to learn to play the synthizer and make a fortune with recording MUSAC (elevator music) <- doesn't incurr fees

Bloody hell Troy! Pretty pathetic what they are charging! And they say i all goes back to the artists. pfft!
And BTW Troy, on my last run out to Willowbank I used about a 1/4 tank. That included the 50km run out there and a little over 1 run Thats makes my economy right around 200kms per tank! It came home on the back of a tow truck! At least I don't buy my fuel from the pump anymore!!
