Relocating to Townsville

Hey all Townsville folk,

I'm moving to Townsville next year around late Jan to start work there 1st Feb.

Just wondering if anyone has knowledge of any good gsrs going? or any decent set of wheels really.

Also anybody looking for a room mate or if they've got a place to rent out.

I'll be working at the Townsville Podiatry Centre for two years =D

Hey bro , im a melbourne boy in townsville with a vr-4 there are the odd few evos and gsr's around but most people up here have some serious commondores!!!!!! there are heaps of superchaged 6 liters you'll need a good 10 or 11 sec car to have a crack but come have a look you should have gone to carins townsville is a shit hole cheers bro

Hey Dane, thanks man that'd be great. I don't fly into townsville till 29th Jan unfortunately but I'll definitely have to meet up with you guys there.

I'm also thinking of getting an RVR there? =D Part of the job entails driving to ingham, charters towers, ayr etc.

Townsville aint that bad, its what you make it!! Find a good group of friends and you will be set, Cairns is more of a fuck hole than here! You run out of things to do pretty dam quick and there is even less a car scene then hear.

Thanks man, that's very true...its what I say to people who bag Perth I hear a lot of evos are around Townsville too? Thanks for the room offer I've got a sort of temporary fixture already at the moment but I may/may not have to search once I get there..don't know just yet. Be good to meet all ya in the flesh I'll be there next Saturday:thumbsup:
