A question for those with more techno clues than I.

If i wanted to remove my Motec and refit the standard ecu what would likely be required to do so and have the car running fine without it.

Bear in mind it has a 34mm restrictor in the turbo, otherwise mechanically stock apart from a unifilter pod.

Thinking of building something else that might make better use of it 8)

is it a plug and play?

if not, do you still run an air flow meter?

what things does the motec monitor/controll etc...

there is a few things to check before you remove anything trev

Trev I'll come down and do a swap straight into the wagon and you can have my jspec features ;)

Or just grab another stock engine loom and ECU. Depends on whether you've retained the factory sensors or not with the motec setup. If so, buy another engine loom and do it as its easy and cheap :)

depends on how the stock loom was butchered...
u may be in luck if all wires were left with some length.
also if the plugs in the bay have been untouched..

otherwise, you'll be in trouble!
you'd have to run new wires to those missing sensors (ie, afm)
