Is there an easy way? Ive got the top off, but cant seem to budge the lower nut. Ive tried to look for another connection underneath, but there is so much steering crap in the way.

if you snap it flare the end and cut a piece of a tr/ts magna fuel pipe that screws into the filter. (cheap as shit from a wrecker ) which has the same fuel filter fitting and connect it with some fuel line.

Leave it in the holder so its locked in place.. Undo the bottom one first then the top then you are done :) undo whats holding it in place and replace.. I did mine in December :)

Im using a 14mm spanner, but its so tight, its starting to round off the nut. If i snap it off its gonna be too tight in that area to try and flare it.

I could always try and heat it up.

As above... do not use a normal spanner !! Use a proper 14mm flare nut spanner . Make sure the filter is still secured firmly in the bracket. A good tip is to not lean on the spanner to undo the flare nut, but to " impact ' crack the nut. They are always mega tight ... good luck with a bit of patience !

Use 2 spanners together. One for the pipe and one for the filter. Try to set it up so you can squeeze the spanners together. As above, flare spanner
