Hey guys,

OMFG pleeeassseeee help!

I am trying to remove the rear seats and have removed the 4 rear bolts (the two on either side right at the back of the runners and the two ones about half way up)

Please someone tell me where the hell the other bolts are?!

Cheers, Mike

Surely there's some up the front?

It's been a good 5 years since I removed the rear seats out of my RVR- they are VERY heavy!

Have a look under the carpet where the rails are and make sure you didn't miss anything

Just the 4 bolts Mike, that's all. All 12mm or 14mm. Push forward while keeping the rails hard up against the base of the seat.
Best of luck mate.

It's very easy. There are 6 14mm bolts holding rail to the floor and 2 17mm bolt holding the seatbelt to the rail.
You will have to move the seat forwards and backwards to get to the end bolts.
The seat with rails attached is quite heavy, might pay to get help pulling it out of the car so you don't scratch the paint.

Maybe mine is different.... Only 4 bolts. Done it many times. Holding the rail against the base of the seat helps a lot. Slide out through the sliding door.
Shouldn't really be too hard, give it a shove or a don't argue bar.....

OOKKKKK, what a mission, got everything out and all the cover off etc, some clown has had a go before me and has completely stripped one of the nuts on the fuel line. I have found where it joins another hose further down the line so i will d/c it from there.

So just wondering is it just pull the two hoses off that are clamped on, undo the electrical connector, undo that stripped nut and then undo the little nuts holding the cover in place and it should all lift out?

Cheers, Mike

Yep

Before removing hoses, I would unplug the fuel pump, then crank the engine to release the residual pressure in the fuel lines.
