Replacing headlight globes- is there an easy way?

Help Support 4GTuner:

I have had a quick look at replacing the globes in the factory fog lights on my hsg. Can't figure out how its possible without taking off the front bar. Am I missing something here. Anyone know how to get at them easily?

Fog lights on a Hypergear??? trying to work out what you mean? Im assuming you're not talking about the head lights, indicators or parking lights?

There is a 10mm bolt/nut on the inner front of the guard, look behind your battery, once you spot it you'll know. Then it slides forward.
Passenger side is fiddly as fuck.... We had fun with that one hey Benny.

I am talking about the optional fog lights highlighted in the picture on the first page.

Yes, I had them on mine. I removed then about 3 yr ago. I thought it was a couple of 14mm bolts on each one attached to front frame. Sorry, can't really remember, but there wasn't much to it.

There are two philip screws holding up those foglight glass cover to its housing.. advisable using screwdriver tip with t coupling due to the limited space.. just remember, dont unscrew it off.. just loosen it and pry open those glass cover.. it just slip on.. easier to fit those screw back later..

Btw.. just finished diy-ed retrofitting morimoto mini h1 to my stock oem nimbus headlamp.. so bye bye h4 bulb..welcome hid 4300k.. the cut off pic taken by crappy phone camera..its a lot sharper in real time..PicsArt_1432818067350.jpgPicsArt_1433023308922.jpg20150530_192904.jpg

Sweet. I got into the fog lights. No room for a screw driver tho. Used a kincrome mini ratchet with a Phillips bit in it. Still no room but did get in there.
