hey guys. have any of you been driving and in a high gear such as 3rd. it will like slip out of gear at 5k and go to the redline while the car doesnt pick up any speed. it only happens when i give it full accelaration.doesnt seem to happen when i dont give it as much. any answers would help me heaps. thanks

He's not talking about clutch slippage, he's talking about it actually dropping the gear and going to neutral.

That's a bearing problem in the gearbox. Time for a rebuild.

nah i think it could be the clutch..sometimes i has trouble going into first and reverse..been like this since i bought the car. bloody cars costin me money arghhhh

check your reverse sensor in yoru gearbox.. it might be interferring with your shifting. i would suggest that you get a washer and put it inbetween the sensor and the gearbox.. it might fix the problem and only cost SFA...
