hi everyone, i was just wondering where i could find a good mechanic that knows about the 4g63t, coz i need to get a roadworthy for my car, i need someone reliable, not to expensive also, and of course someone in Melbourne, it would be great if you could help me on that one guys

Technically according to legislation all RWC places should be the same as they all check the exact same list. Are you looking for a "Lenient" one?

they will just check for the possible hazards on the car so its deemed worthy to put on to vic roads.

roadworthys varies between 60-100ish, you can get road worthy from most mechanics with the certified road worthy certificate authoriser.

Actually under Victorian law if a roadworthy price varies for a standard car, then that licensed tester is playing with fire. Prices for roadworthy checks are legislated and subject to CPI and a range of other things and go up every year. They are different depending on the type of car 4d sedan vs 4x4 etc. You should be expecting to pay around $88 for a roadworthy this year, although it may have gone up to $95, I haven't had one done since last september so not sure on actual pricing atm. Wouldn't suprise me if it's more expensive in Melbourne either.

And unless you've seen their checklist, you'll be suprised the kind of stuff they check for.

anyone can suggest me a good one, where he can be 'lenient' as entaran said.?

just need to put my baby back on the road.

so any suggestions....???
