Rolling your Evo rear quarter panels

where have everyone gone to get theirs done, Without destorting the quarter?

i rolled my rear guards with a guard roller myself.
i did crack the paint a tiny bit on the drivers side.
no issue on the passenger side.

how flared out do you want them?

or just the lip rolled up to clear a slightly bigger tyre?

1.take ur wheel off
2.get a dolly and wrap it in a rag or masking to soften it up and put it on the outside of the 1/4 and tap the lip in from inside the 1/4 all the way around till ur happy
3.take ur time and u shouldnt crack paint....even if it does chances are u wont see it anyways :wink:

i've done one before but it seems to warp the arch. the middle of the arch will bulge out more than the ends. obviously because theres more strength there.

I've seen people done it in the panel shop many times. They heat up the panel using heat gun 1st. They said it doesn't really help to roll on metal but does help stop paint form cracking. :wink:

not affraid of the paint cracking. just want to retain the factory wheel arch shape and the quarter panel.
