try yahoo auctions japan! Thats how i get my Galant stuff

Auctions.yahoo.co.jp

Or u could search thru importmonstor website! Its sort of a proxy site with english translation!

ive seen those headlights before they are from another vehicle if u look carefully and compare it to other rvrs our headlights are flushed allround with that it has a trim underneath the headlight so its be custom

Sorry to rain on your parade bud, but if they were out there, they'd surely have them in NZ, which they don't....

+1 on them being custom!

Thanks man, how do you get it in English??

you can't get yahoo auctions JAPAN site in english directly

you got 2 options,,

1. translate it thru google translate via http://translate.google.com.au/#

go to the site and put http://auctions.yahoo.co.jp/ on the translate box, then it will show the transated link on the side, just click on it and you're in business

2. thru importmonster.com.au

they translate thru google too but in addition, they can bid on the item and get it for you... sort of like NZJDM... but a bit expensive i guess. i have never used importmonster, but they give you a pretty accurate guestimate of the costs and shipping thru their site... you can register for free..

just out of curiosity, i did a search on yahoo auctions jpy, it did turn up a lot of RVR headlights and stuff, but since im not fammiliar with RVR's , cant say if they are aftermarket crystal stuff or not...

found this though..

I can get them brand new for around $220 a light (exxy I know)

I realised this the other day when I was holding one.
They mount the same, problem is they leave an open gap due to the curved face

Hmmm, yes.

But on Japan Google, i thought i saw some at first, but it wasnt until i clicked on a bigger pic, that they were just normal.

hard to say...?

Guys we have these on our HSGR, albeit LHD. They are from a European spec (LHD) Space Runner and require a fair bit of modifying of the bumper to fit. The ones on the blue car do fit but you have to get the 'Blenders' to fill in the gaps below.

I'm just leaving work and will post some pictures and info once I get back home.

OK, here's a link to my Picasa album showing the conversion. The lights are from a German GLXi 1.8 model and so far nothing seems to match in the UK. EDIT: Just found a picture of a UK car with them, good to know when we go back.

We spent about 2 hours per side with a dremel, a marker pen and a set of files. You have to remove large sections of the metal support frame to fit the lamps in behind the bumper. It means though that you can't go back to the RVR standard lamps without making custom filler units.

The lamps are as follows :
Left - PNC:80060L Part No:MR178843 Part Name: Headlamp Kit, LH Part Spec: 12V-60/55W,Halogen
Right - PNC:80060L Part No:MR178843 Part Name: Headlamp Kit, RH Part Spec: 12V-60/55W,Halogen

The left and right filler parts we need are :

Left - PNC:62219L Part No:MB861159 Part Name: Garnish kit, Grille Filler, LH Remarks: AC10809 Colour: White
Right - PNC:62219R Part No:MB861160 Part Name: Garnish kit, Grille Filler, RH Remarks: AC10809 Colour: White

I'll add some more detail for you later, including diagrams. Just need a PDF print driver to export from ASA.

for the brisbane guys, I went out and had a look at Boss wrecking on hemmant tingalpa rd today, they had 2 of these 95 nimbus only 1 headlight though, was quoted $88 bucks so i left it. anyway the lights do look nice in person, I learned that alot of the interior parts of the 95 nimbus look swappable dash parts, aircon vents etc can anyone confirm this? all the parts at boss were trashed though. for the guys who want to get their rear hatch door lights working (if they were removed on import like mine) might be an idea to grab the sockets out of a wrecked nimbus as they look like they would fit, I will probably grab some tomorrow to confirm.

That's a shame, I'd be out there straight away if they had a pair!
