RVR evap canister location vs trouble filling fuel tank

Anyone had trouble filling the tank with new petrol station pumps or when tank is very low on fuel?

Where is the charcoal evap canister located?

What replacement options are available? anyone wrecking?

Under brake booster on mine. Try there.

But also there is a vent pipe that runs from one or more corners on the tank up to the filler neck. Check this pipe is not blocked

Same place in my Evo. Dont think that would affect filling up but.

problem solution:

i flashed a torch down the petrol filler pipe and saw a yellow rubber ring jammed sideways inside it

i had to have it removed and was confused about WTF it was, it had some distortion in it from being down there

i went to the petrol station and looked at the same pump i nearly always use and it was missing its flow back ring off the nozzle

i have a compliant to lodge with them now and the station attendant was looking at other pumps doing a "safety check" but its still missing the ring
