After taking a good look, It is possible, but would be in the range of 500 X 280 X 70, this includes end tanks.
Here are some pics of what you have to work with. All the pics got mixed around during upload. Adjustment done, don't mind the mess
Pic 5: This is where you would have to cut in order to route some cold side pipework to the engine bay. The pipe will need to do a couple of tight 90° bends then hug the inside of the bumper before
being routed through the inner guard and up to the engine bay where the battery is/was. It is only an edge trim that is needed, if done correctly it shouldn't affect the front of the bumper, just the
edge area. You'll need to pull out and cut the plastic garnish as well. I can post up another pic if needed.
Pic 4: This is the space at the end of the A/C condenser without the radiator, I have an auto radiator in mine so it takes up the whole width at around 740mm, the manual should be smaller as you can
see the alternate bolt holes when you look at the upper radiator support. This may allow a hotside pipe to be routed through with a bit of massaging depending on diameter of pipe.
Pic 3: Total height from the lower support panel to the bottom of the "trimmed" bonnet catch. 280mm high IC should work here.
Pic 2: This is the width at the centre of the bumper to the A/C condenser, it reduces to around 90mm towards the headlights, so a 70mm wide IC should fit.
Pic 1: Measuring from the headlight tab on the drivers side to the A/C condenser piping gives a figure of 520mm and as mentioned above, the core width would be less the tank ends.
Pic 6: This is the tabs on the grill that will need to be trimmed to accommodate an intercooler.
It is totally possible, just needs a bit of playing about, creating a sleeper look is a bit more of a faff because everything has to be put in places it's not meant to be. Wow, that reminds me of a girl I used to know :lol:
