Hi guys,
I have my 1997 black HSG for sale. ADVERTISED ELSEWHERE FOR $5500. 4G forum users save $$ as I'd prefer it to go to a fellow enthusiast Check out carsales for more photos.
Must sell as i need to free up some money and already have another car and a motorbike.
I'm in the S.E suburbs of Melbourne, but work near the city so happy to view at either.
PM me for contact details.
Basic HSG info:
-Lancer Evo IV motor, gearbox, rear LSD, front mount intercooler and turbo
-Factory 185kw
-Factory Recaro Front seats
-Climate control
-Electric windows/mirrors
-Power steering
List of safe and well thought out modifications:
-3" turbo back exhaust with stainless split dump pipe, stainless manifold, and high flow metal cat + carbon fibre rear muffler with optional silencer.
-Pod filter with stainless steel intake
-Recently installed Gizzmo Electronic boost controller running 3 settings of 12psi (factory), 14psi, and 16psi.
-Greedy Boost gauge -Greedy turbo timer
-Trust digital multi gauge with a/f ratio, oil temp, oil pressure, and water temp readings
-18" Hiro Axis rims with Bridgstone Potenza tyres
-17" Evo V Oz racing rims (optional)
-Momo gear knob
-Mirror tint on windows (legal)
- Phillips Crystal white globes (looks like HID's)
-Alpine CD player with Kicker rear speakers
-Alarm with Immobilizer, central locking, and turbo timer allowance
I've NEVER skimped on maintenance and servicing this car as i really do love driving it and keeping it to a high level of care mechanically. I've owned it since Mid 2009 and it has been ultra reliable. The only money I've spent besides basic servicing is the modifications performed.
Huge folder of receipts including a very recent major service and dyno run costing over $800. Have dyno papers for a 171awkw run about two years ago, and papers for a 183awkw run only a month or so ago after the boost controller install.
Very quick and satisfying car to drive!! I'm after a hassle free and hopefully fast sale, hence the low price.
No RWC, but there is Rego until September...I'll be putting standard plates on for buyer. Also a reflection on the low price is the fact that the body is showing it's age. A few knocks and scratches here and there as well as some roof rust (common on these RVR's). BUT, it is an accident free car and is structurally perfect.
