Rvr tow bar

Does anyone know if the tow bar for a rvr is cross compatible with other makes, ei. Nimbus or lancer? Much appreciate any certain advice.

Nimbus possibly, Lancer unlikely.
I do know the Nimbus far can be fitted to an RVR with a little work, so would guess the tow bar MAY be possible?

My parents SSG had a tow bar installed on it when they purchased it here in Australia. There are two articles I could find on it.
