Hi guys,

Anybody use this TB before?

Pros?
Cons?

Is it cheaper elsewhere?
 
What about fitment and idle control?
Does it still have cold start?
TPS bolts on perfect?
T/B eblow to I/C piping angle? Is it pretty much the same as stock but not not flanged? Just wondering if I could simply cut and put a 90 in between....
 
Ive got one looks good quality havent fited it yet. Someone told me it bolts up for stock except for one rhing which ecm link,makes obsolete. Its in the spotted ebay for sale section prob a four or five pages back. Ill see if I can find it for you.
 
It was bris vr4 he said the only thing .that does.t bolt up is thottle stop switch. Duno what that is for bit aparently you dont need it with ecmlink.
 
Looking at the ebay pic, it looks like there's a couple of slots inside the tb mouth for an idle control setup. Are you guys using OEM idle control, if so, which one? EVO or VR4? There are slight differences yes?
I know at least with my Haltech idle control, I would just block it and run Haltech's own idle control unit which doesnt use that flange at all. It operates simply by taking a hose feed from the IC piping before the throttle body and another hose from a nipple out of the intake manifold.
Im keen to know whether the OEM TPS bolts onto that throttle body too?
