Well it is what it is...

I have seen it work on the FTO forums .. Basically, if you have parts you no longer need, you post them in the scrap yard .. There is no thread talking, just a listing, and only sold replies, or delete parts... And the price they are sold for goes to the running of the website...

I have a couple of things I want to get rid of so I have no problems in starting up the scrap yard products... They are GSR seats, and GSR rotors/pads/calipers that I no longer need...

sounds like a good idea, I have quite a few things that are of no use to me that I would part with to contribute to the forum.

Do we need a new forum for it though? Could it just be in for sale threads and you can make the subject:

Free: GSR seats/rotors/calipers

etc... What do you think?

It is not really free ...

It is given to the club as a donation, and when sold (usually for a cheapre price) then the club gets the money and it can go towards hosting or general things for the club/community ...

Edit: It would also be controlled by mods/admin so they can post the item and control the pricing structure etc. of the selling...

It does sound like a good idea. The only issue is that we are mostly in different states, and I personally don't have time to manage this gear for sale.

I'm beginning to think that we need to beef up the club side of things.. Make a bigger split between the admin of the site, and the club.

Food for thought, leave it with me.
