Anyone have any contacts who make up rails to suit e39a (or any car) to recaro's?

I'm going to need a set for my vr4 and another set for my landcruiser.

I want them done properly and am willing to pay for it.

Shops? Locations? Anyone have contacts?

Not sure If it's any help, but In my previous car the person who did the engineering certificate also installed a sparco bucket seat, So I used that seat rail as a template for my current car.

I simply welded a length of square tubing to either seat rail and bolted the seat to the cross bar. Conforms to ADR69 which states the seat rail must use the original mounting points. ;)

I'm using Recaro "style" seats, but the mounting holes on the seat are the same as a genuine sparco.

Holy shit. something over my side of the world. I'll call them next week, cheers guys.

West Melbourne as in next to the city, near footscray.

As in not way out southeastern suburbs!

I can do west melb :D West melb is like an hour.

Soon as I have to head down southeast it's like nearly 2

Plus it's shorter to drive home again too.

Any workshop that does race car prep should also be able to help you. They are not that hard to do once you have the sliders and can weld.

just leave the stock rails and the new seats with me...
i can get em done for you...

or i can introduce you to my welder

How did you go lorry?

I found some rails for the tank. Hang on...

It's on hold. Long way off.

The e8 seats are sitting in my shed under wraps so they don't get dirty/degrade/etc. Nice to look at occasionally but the vr4 has other issues that warrant money first.

Like the gearbox.

And the ECU.
