Secondary air supply valve- MR239118

Hi All
Can some1 explained to me alittle about the secondary air supply valve and how to connect it?
I have an Evo 1 and apparently my cooler piping doesn't have the hose to connect to this valve. The evo 1 piping were a bit banged up so I recently bought an Evo 3 intercooler piping and it has the hose to connect to this valve.

If any1 has pics of their car engine bay with this valve it would be great.

Are you using an EVO3 engine?? if your not then you wont have the EGR valve to connect to the cooler piping

You don't need it, just weld it closed

So the evo I&II do not use the secondary air supply valve?
I have an evo II RS engine and have never noticed it before until I got the evo III cooler piping.
